I know, I know, it’s not Tuesday, but I’m posting a video tip anyway, because I’m actually in Vegas at the time of this post’s posting, and I’m among the only 3 people in all of Silicon Valley who have neither an iPhone, nor a laptop, nor an iPad. (Lustlustlust, drooldrooldrool. Wanna send one my way??)

Which means all posts during my trip have to be done in advance. Perfect time for a 2-10-Minute Tip!

And in honor of my trip, a seminar for independent music artists, at which I’ll be glammed up in full Diva mode the whole time, I went “Diva” for this recording. (Though you might not be able to see this so great, since it was late, and the lighting’s kinda dark.)

It’s Tuesday! Time for a 2-Minute Tip.

Which isn’t actually two minutes, but it sounds better that way, don’t you think?

And which I’m actually changing to “2-10-Minute Tip,” because let’s face it, a lot of my tips end up going longer than 2 minutes, and I’m all about accuracy. Or at least honesty.

In any case, 2-10-Minute Tips are posted on Tuesdays. At least for now. (And not necessarily every Tuesday. Just sayin’.)

Today’s tip is an audio recording, rather than a video. Why? Because you may want to listen to this recording while you’re not sitting in front of a computer. In fact, I recommend it.

NLP anchoring

Sinclair of SelfActivator.com taught me this technique of creating an NLP anchor. I was on the phone with her in a coaching session, sobbing from having too many ideas, and no clear direction for what path to run down first. I was just totally verklemt.

But a few minutes later, after learning the NLP anchor technique, I was back to calm, and able to access that state at will.

Pretty cool!
