I always wished, as a child, that I were left-handed, or better yet, ambidextrous. Aside from the obvious benefits of amidexterity — never having to worry about your hand getting tired, fewer chiropractor bills, the ability to impress people at parties — it just seemed that I’d be specialer somehow, and life revolved around being special, you know.
Besides, impressing people at parties — the ability to do so on a moment’s notice — that, alone, would have made me specialer. And being yet another regular, old, right-hander, just didn’t.

Great Idea Melissa. I told myself, probably about a year ago, that I should write a sentence a day in my journal. Needless to say it’s sometimes a sentence a week, a paragraph a month…. never consistent. If I were to promise the public that I would do it though… well maybe I’d take it more seriously. Thanks for sharing and good luck in your endeavor!

Yeah, it’s amazing what making a public commitment can get one to do… Scary, but as long as the goal is “ridiculously achievable,” then hey, it’s way more likely to happen. 🙂
