The way you make me lose track of time,
loose from any attachment point,
like an astronaut floating in a capsule.
The way you swell my heart,
so it floats, pounding like a balloon,
up past the atmosphere,
perhaps on date for tea with the astronaut.
The way you widen my eyes and quicken my breath,
put me on the verge of a smile,
like a child at the edge of a high dive,
the thrilling moment before the leap.
It is this.
It is this.
It is this.

PS — Pssst! Know someone who might benefit from seeing this today? Pass it on!

This is as they say the first day of the rest of my life. That notion somehow is both terrifying and invigorating. I’ve reached an age where I take deadlines pretty seriously but am clever enough to enjoy the moment. This is the best time of my life. This is now and in the now all things are possible. This exercise is fun!
