In the style of meditation I do, you focus on the breath. Rather brilliant, I think. After all, your breath is something you carry with you at all times. Plus I think we spend so much time completely unaware of our breathing. And when I’m anxious, my first line of defense is to breathe, slowly and deeply.
Sometimes that’s all you need to work wonders.
