While there are things I wish were better here (that last e is way too small!), I’m still really pleased with how this came out. I wish I’d captured making the dot in the descender of the J on video, but I didn’t add it until I’d turned the video off.
Pen: Gillott 303
Ink: Ziller Midnight Blue, diluted with water. (I LOVE Ziller inks! They’re super concentrated, so you can dilute them and still get rich colors; they behave beautifully; you can use them like watercolor; and they’re WATERPROOF! This Midnight Blue Ziller and walnut ink together make one of my favorite combinations. The walnut ink is super water soluble, so you can get really interesting effects with the two together, and when they blend, the color range is amazing — blues, greens and browns. Luscious!)
