It’s finally here! After much planning and technical wrangling, this post marks the start of a new series on the blog: daily paintings — a special showcase and shop of the paintings that I create in my almost-daily painting sessions in the Creative Sandbox.

The ruggedness of the California coastline near where I grew up, the openness of sky and sea, mist, breezes, the sound of crashing surf and calling gulls. That’s what this painting says to me.
