I did a monologue last week, so normally this would be an interview week, but I’m leading a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® team building retreat tomorrow for my consultancy, and things are down to the wire, and I decided to do an improvisational podcast instead, because that just takes less time than editing an interview.
So I thought I’d share some learnings from this last weekend, when I taught a calligraphy workshop for the Friends of Calligraphy.
First, some background:
I started doing calligraphy way back in 1995, and I taught my first calligraphy workshop in 1999 — a calligraphy style called Neuland, based on a typeface called Neuland, designed by Rudolf Koch in 1923.
And here we are, almost 20 years later, and I was invited to teach the same workshop again.
I’ve taught it a few times since that original class, but it’s been a long time. Maybe 14 years..?
