It’s a bonus episode! You’ve got so many creative ideas — how to decide which ones to say no to? In this episode, I share the approaches that work for me (plus stories about a harmonica and teaching yoga).
Whether or not you’re a passion pluralite, it’s a fair bet you’ve got more things you want to do than you have time for. What to do? How do you decide what to say no to?
Leo asked about this with her question:
I would love to hear more about your way of dealing with the issue of saying “no” to things that you would like to do in order to be able to say “yes” to things you would like to do even more. I definitely have too many things going in my life (outside of work). Whenever I start thinking about which one(s) to let go (even temporarily), I get stressed out. How do you make these decisions? Do you feel it in your body which ones are a no and which ones are a yes? Do you think it through in your mind? Do you have overarching goals and try to fit your activities to these goals? What do you do in periods when it is not clear whether there are any overarching goals?
Have a listen, and let me know if my techniques resonate with you.
