I’m practically giggling as I type this, ’cause I’m so excited! Yes, this post is a day later than usual, because I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on something I’ve been barely able to keep to myself!

Here’s the deal:

A year ago, I published a series of blog posts over at Cory Huff‘s awesome blog, The Abundant Artist, on building my successful art business, getting overwhelmed (and going into debt!), and learning from my mistakes to create the life I really want.

I originally got to know Cory back in 2009 when I did a month-long group coaching session that he taught on Internet Marketing for Artists. Since then, Cory and I have had many conversations. We’ve each created our own communities to help artists bust the starving artist mindset and learn to thrive, we’ve compared notes, and now we’re joining forces to…

Change the Conversation Around Art

Starting next week, Cory and I are hosting a series of open discussions around creating the life you want as an artist.

First, on Tuesday, September 6, Cory will interview me, grilling me on the gory details of my journey, such as:

• how I make my money (from my art!)
• how I’ve reinvented myself not once, but multiple times
• how I learned to raise my rates
• how I dealt with the burnout that results when art becomes “just a job”
• the very expensive mistakes I made, and what I learned from them
• and a lot more

After which we’ll open up the floor for your questions and thoughts.

Then, on Thursday, September 8, we’re turning the tables, and it will be my turn to grill Cory. In that call we’ll discuss Cory’s specialty: what it really takes to leverage the power of the Internet to build the life you want.

And again, we want to hear from YOU after the interview!

No sales pitches here. Just an honest conversation among creatives around how artists are really creating lives of thriving abundance, and how you can do it too. Yep – ask us anything! This is a great opportunity to get feedback from two coaches whose specialty is working with creatives, and who are artists ourselves.
