I veered off the “basically right angles” path on this knot doodle, and where it ended up utterly delighted me! This is what can happen when you work in series and take a 1-degree pivot: someplace fresh and exciting that makes the entire series seem brand new.

Not that this series is really *old*… There are only a dozen knots on this page, after all. But I’m kind of excited about what would happen if I try making these knots larger. On board or canvas.
Will they even work? Or are they a teeny-tiny-only kind of thing?

I intend to find out at the upcoming retreat next week! At least that’s my current plan–that could always change.

The largest knot doodle from today’s Doodlecam. This is actually upside down from how I drew it, but I kinda like it this way–it looks like a big critter, don’t you think?
