I like this message so much better than the original one on this spread. The book is called Win Him If You Want Him, published in 1938, and yes, it’s just as regressive and sexist as you might imagine.

I’m having great fun going through it, page spread by page spread, and finding a new message on each page. 🙂 This is what artists do: reimagine the world as it *could* be, and create a new vision of that reimagined world.
