Some people write, do poetry, practice illustration, paint, make music. I use the prompts to@build my visual vocabulary. There is no wrong way to use the prompts! About a year ago I reached out to a woman I’d crossed path with many years ago in the online world, Daphne Cohn, because I saw that she had a podcast, The Creativity Habit™, that looked like it might be a good fit for me to be a guest.
It took over a year, but eventually that interview happened, and it wasn’t just a regular, old podcast interview.
It was really special.

Creative Sandbox Playday is a half-day co-working retreat to work (or play!) on whatever creative project(s) you want, in the company of others doing the same. Today was the FIRST ONE! And it was AMAZING! I’m exhausted and happy; fulfilled, inspired, glowing, and excited for the next one, tentatively slated for October 14.

I love how these daily prompts in the #creativesandboxcommunity nudge me to try things I wouldn’t necessarily otherwise try. And I love how we work together in the community to create things. Many minds bouncing ideas off each other inevitably lead to more exciting ideas together. 🖍
We produced an adult coloring book together. We make monthly creative challenges. We come up with all kinds of ideas that we DO together. I love that about the Creative Sandbox Community. 😊
