Seriously, doodling is so therapeutic. I let my inner 4-year-old inhabit the tip of the pen and give her free rein to go wherever she wants. Weird shapes and characters often emerge, like this bizarre creature here, who seems to be one-foot hopping toward some kind of sign. What does it mean? Like dreams, it could be interpreted to death, which could be interesting, but what I find more useful is the DOING. 🖍
Giving myself the SPACE and TIME to do these doodles — and really, ten minutes is GREAT! — provides me the same kind of health benefits as meditation. 🖍
Doodling as a spiritual practice. Sound crazy? I say try it yourself before passing judgment. .
