Morning doodle from today’s Doodlecam. It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Doodlecam, what with traveling and being sick, but it felt like a good day to bring it back.
And you know what’s cool? I just realized that I wasn’t the least bit nervous!
The first few times I doodled live on camera I was nervous as HECK! I felt all choked up and self-conscious.
But today? Doodling on camera felt pretty much the same as doodling in private.
That is what happens when you do something enough: it becomes the new normal!
Rick made a comment about my work being kinetic, and then pointed out that the parallel lines (which make the piece look pretty kinetic, no?) came after he made that comment.
Audience suggestion! Just like improv! ?
It wasn’t conscious on my part, but I love that it worked that way. Life influences art influences life.
