6″x6″ work in progress. Adding color to those grooved lines is really close, meticulous work, which I’ve spent the past few years rebelling against doing, but apparently it’s not the detail work that I hate, it’s all the planning ahead. If the detail work is improvisational, then I actually kind of enjoy it. It’s very meditative.
