Back in November, I produced a house concert to benefit the Jazz Camp West scholarship fund, and as part of the concert, I tried out a 30-minute section that I’ve been developing into a keynote about my Creative Sandbox Manifesto — my foundational concepts for living a full-color creative life (which I talk more about in episode 005).
I thought it would be fun to share it on the podcast, so listen for a music-infused explanation of my ten Creative Sandbox Manifesto precepts, the origin story of my Creative Sandbox metaphor, and lots of imperfect ukulele playing.
In this episode I share my own (embarrassing) stories of envy and getting stuck in the Comparison Trap, and the tools and armor I’ve used to keep the creative channel open, all in the service of answering a listener question.
