I started this page several weeks (months?) back, and quickly got frustrated with it. Adding weight to all those initial scribble lines felt like an impossible task to do well. Like setting myself up for perfectionist paralysis.

This morning I came back to it with a more open mind. What if I approach it as a chance to play, try stuff, let it be messy and imperfect?

What if those early “scaffolding” scribbles get to be ragged? What if they don’t have to look like they came out of a pointed pen? What if I allowed them to be opportunities to play?

20 minutes went by in a snap! Now I can’t wait to get back to it! I’d love to spend all day working on it!

Alas, other duties and commitments call. But I’ll be back tomorrow.
