Starting another new work in progress on cradled wood panel. It’s fun working on a different surface, with a slight change in media (transparent watercolor ground, instead of white), seeing how the materials behave, how it changes the line quality.
I also love the critter that appeared, frolicking across the grass!

Trying something new, and feeling giddy about it: transparent watercolor ground on a cradled *wood* panel! It looks a bit white here, because the ground is still wet.
