Welcome, Creative Genius!

If that little welcome made you stand a little straighter and smile, this site is for you.

If it made you look behind you and ask, “Who, me?” this site is for you.

Some people dream of world peace – and yeah, I’m totally down with that too – but my passion, my raison d’être, is to get anyone with even the tiniest glimmer of a creative urge hooked up and glowing.

Sparked, stoked, and creating!

I started this blog to be my own first test subject, to chart my journey as I followed my evolving Bliss(es) to create the life I really, really wanted. You’ll find a lot of posts in the archives that put me and my journey under a microscope. My goal is always to light up a new insight for you (or keep you from making the same damn mistakes I did!)

Oh, my, there’s a lot to look at! Where do I start?

Here’s the basic lay of the land:

Over on the blog, you’ll find a lot of posts about Creative Abundance, following your evolving Bliss(es), being multi-passionate, and how to blast past your Sticking Point and actually DO your creative thing.

To get you oriented, here are some themes I talk about here, and a few posts you might enjoy:

Being a Recovering Perfectionist and Striving Toward Imperfectionism:

The Imperfectionist Manifesto

Click the link above to read the whole post, but here’s the Imperfectionist Manifesto in short:

  • Even if you can’t stand what you’ve created, you never know how it may affect somebody else
  • Ultimate value doesn’t always have anything to do with technical skill
  • Putting stuff out into the world is really gratifying
  • Allowing yourself to be imperfect is a helluva lot more fun
  • The more you let yourself be imperfect, the more stuff you’ll actually do, and the better you’ll get at it

Sandi WedemeierWhen Melissa offered coaching, I jumped at the chance. I gained such HUGE insights! Each time I came up with a reason that I couldn't, she came up with a way that I could. In the end, she gave me an assignment, a realistic and doable one.I'm happy to say that not only was my creativity jumpstarted, but that the love and the joy of creativity is back.

Delisa Carnegie, from the Creativity RebellionIn my time with Melissa, I was re-energized, admitted to the things I need to stop doing, found the things I want to be doing and was given easy actionable steps to get me back in the creative swing of things. Simply amazing! She is full of energy and wonderful ideas.
